Rugby Players Allowed to Take WAGs to World Cup

England's rugby players have been allowed to take their wives and girlfriends to the world cup this year. Also, according to boss Martin Johnson there will be no booze ban this time for the rugby players.
He said, "Some of the wives and girlfriends of the rugby players are going, which is great. I don't impose travel restrictions. The wives and girlfriends are all sensible and supportive and just want their partners to have a good experience in terms of playing. And I think having your family there is the best thing you can have. You have got to get the balance right between work, rest, and play." He also said that the rugby players would be allowed to drink sensibly but that he had warned them about their behavior following the rape allegations that were levied four years ago in New Zealand.
Skipper Lewis Moody seemed happy about the 'open house' policy on WAGs and insisted none of the rugby players would abuse the freedom to have a drink. He said: "It is good to be able to step away and have family and girlfriends waiting for you; Jonno has always been an advocate of that."
