The organizing committee of the upcoming Rugby World Cup are unfazed by the number of unsold tickets for the event. The Rugby World Cup kicks off in ten days and there are still 170,000 tickets left unsold. Rugby World Cup organizers though remained confident that they would reach the figure and achieve the target on time. The Rugby World Cup, to be held in New Zealand, will go on for 44 days, and the special feature for this years edition, 'The Cloud' was unveiled in Auckland last month.
England Rugby coach Martin Johnson has given the rugby stars permission to bring their WAGs to the upcoming Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Johnson also said that there is no ban on booze for the rugby stars. The boss said that he has no intention of following football coach Fabio Capello's example by banning the WAGs or imposing alcohol bans on the rugby stars. He said that his players are sensible and there is no harm in enjoying going to the world cup with family. However Johnson also said that the rugby stars have to be responsible and avoid incidents like the rape allegations in New Zealand three years ago when four of England's rugby players were detained by the police. Team skipper Lewis Moody speaking on behalf of all the rugby stars said that they would not abuse the freedom given by their coach.

Loose forwards Kieran Read and Adam Thomson were the two new members in the All Blacks injured list with only ten days to go for the Rugby World Cup. Read and Thomson were both injured in the All Blacks game against Australia, and scans have shown that both loose forwards will most likely miss the World Cup. All Blacks coach said that Kieran Read is the third most important player in the All Blacks team and his injury dealt a significant blow, meaning that only three out of the five All Blacks loose forwards will be completely fit when the World Cup commences. Team sources said that Read has a high ankle sprain, and a ligament tear in the ankle while Adam Thomson suffers from an elbow injury.
