The Football League Cup - Finals
Initiated by the Football League, the brainchild of the then secretary Alan Hardaker, in 1960-61. Open only to clubs in the Football League, and now also the FA Premiership. Initially it had a two-legged final (winners in bold), reverting to a single final at Wembley in 1967. Winners now gain entry to UEFA Cup.
